Renovated Historic Home by Forsyth Park - 4BR with a Common Area and 5 Baths + Porches

This house was beautiful! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the tile details in the bathrooms were lovely. My husband and I stayed in the master suite and appreciated the water pressure in that shower. We (extended family of 10) also appreciated the ceiling fans and TVs in all the rooms. The stove worked very well, but we did not use the oven. It was very nice having two dedicated parking spaces because, while street parking in front of the house is free, it isn’t always available. Communication with the hosts was prompt and they were quick to answer any questions. We made them aware of a couple very minor issues we found, which they appreciated and could address after we checked out. Something I thought was odd was that there is nowhere on the upper level to hang clothes. I had to hang ours on some door knobs, as the bedroom closet was locked.To keep this honest, the most unfortunate issue brought up by multiple people in our group were the blinds. While the current type provide a certain aesthetic, you can see in and out of them, so privacy especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms felt very uncertain. They also let in way too much exterior light, whether it was sunlight we didn’t want coming in at certain times or outside lights at night (street lights, neighboring house’s window lights, etc). We now realize we have to pay better attention to that detail when considering future rentals, but I think others should know this in case they share our concerns.

House is beautiful and beds are so comfortable. I would recommend bringing a fan for your stay. Temperature got up to 78 during the day. Asked for a broom and dustpan and it was there the next day.

Beautiful house, historic but modern updates and close to everything

It was the perfect place for 5 old friends to enjoy a few days together. Savannah is a wonderful place to tour. I would definitely stay in this house again.
