Positive: Parking was a bonus. Comfortable. The layout was a little strange but it worked. A lot of room.

I rarely write reviews because any complaints I have had have been minor. Most of the complaints I have about this place are also minor, they some things would prevent me from staying here again. First, the good! Great location, the owner is responsive and the place has that Savannah charm. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the air conditioning was set to 78 degrees and it was 80 degrees inside the house. I understand it was a very hot few days and that made it difficult to keep things comfortable. However, they use smart thermostats that the host controls, so he could have turned down the air before we arrived to make it at least a little cooler. 6 hours later, it had gotten to 76. It did continue to go down and stayed down the rest of our stay, but not a great way to start things. There is a LOT of deferred maintenance. Nothing major, just a lot.But here is what will keep me from returning. The host requires you to strip the beds. No problem, but when I stripped mine, there was no mattress pad and the mattress was EXTREMELY stained and disgusting. It looked like a crime scene. One of the other beds had a mattress cover that looked just like my disgusting mattress. If you want me to strip the beds, put a clean, unstained mattress pad on it. I still have the heebie jeebies. Last, there is an electrical panel in one of the bathrooms. I don’t know if it is still functioning or not, but if it is, that’s clearly unsafe. If it doesn’t work, take it out.

Enjoyed the house very much! Everything is as shown on the pictures and as other people’s reviews. Would definitely come Positive: The house is spacious, loads of bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for two families to spread out and have privacy. The beds are very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Negative: The seating outside in the backyard needs renewal. It was pretty rusty. We spent more time on the balcony looking at Forsythe park. There were only minor things that didnt impact our experience. We fully enjoyed it!

We enjoyed our stay! The hosts have made great use of the property. It needs some maintenance in a few areas (kitchen cabinets, shower head that we reported) and the backyard grass needed to be cut, but nothing that hindered our enjoyment too much. We would stay and again and would recommend.
