Comfortable Escape 2 Bed in Historic Downtown Savannah

Positive: Location was perfect. The home was very beautiful and clean. Lots of space! Negative: The heating system stayed at 68 degrees and it was uncomfortably chilly in the living room area which we spent some time in. Did what the host suggested, still not warm enough.

Quiet location, yet close to everything Positive: The location is perfect: quiet but close to everything! The coffee shop at the corner is a gem. The place is spacious and the Furnishings are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Negative: One of the bedrooms is missing curtains at the patio door to the porch. Ppl from unit above & next door neighbors could see into the bedroom. We had to use a blanket to create a curtain for privacy.

Pretty but noisy Positive: Nice location, very nicely furnished, and a lot of space. Negative: There are multiple lovely large glass doors to the outside, but they lack privacy screens. This rental property has two units on two floors. The bottom unit gets fairly noisy because there is no insulation whatsoever, and the upper unit's staircase is right next to the long hallway connecting all rooms. You will hear every step people above take. There are two bathrooms. One has a tub that's quite dated, and the other one is extremely tiny (getting to the shower makes you squeeze between the sink and the wall). The unit, while cosily decorated, gets very little daylight. If this is important to you, choose a different option. All these issues may be considered minor by some. The apartment is truly cosy and pretty.
