Comfortable Escape 2 Bed in Historic Downtown Savannah

Pretty but noisy Positive: Nice location, very nicely furnished, and a lot of space. Negative: There are multiple lovely large glass doors to the outside, but they lack privacy screens. This rental property has two units on two floors. The bottom unit gets fairly noisy because there is no insulation whatsoever, and the upper unit's staircase is right next to the long hallway connecting all rooms. You will hear every step people above take. There are two bathrooms. One has a tub that's quite dated, and the other one is extremely tiny (getting to the shower makes you squeeze between the sink and the wall). The unit, while cosily decorated, gets very little daylight. If this is important to you, choose a different option. All these issues may be considered minor by some. The apartment is truly cosy and pretty.

This was a last minute booking and the host could not have been more gracious and helpful. We appreciate the communication, the explicit instructions, the layout, the location, and the comfort of the beds as well as the beautiful and well appointed accommodation. The restoration and renovation of the property is gorgeous.

I can't give this place enough stars. Really cute apartment with the total Savannah feel. The kitchen had everything needed to cook (spices included), comfortable beds and pillows, enough towels for the entire stay, plus the Kroger and coffee shop just steps away was icing on the cake. It's not located in all the action but it is just a short walk away.
